Ingredients (6 dozen)
- Unsweetened cocoa powder 1 cup
- White sugar 2 cups
- Fortune Vegetable Oil 1/2 cup
- Eggs 4
- Vanilla extract 2 teaspoons
- Flour 2 cups
- Baking powder 2 teaspoons
- Salt 1/2 teaspoon
- Confectioners' sugar 1/2 cup
Method
- Mix together the cocoa, white sugar, and Fortune Vegetable Oil in a medium size bowl.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time and then stir in the vanilla.
- Next combine the flour, baking powder, and salt and stir it into the cocoa mixture.
- And then cover the dough and chill this for at least 4 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Line the cookie sheets with parchment paper. Roll the dough into one inch balls and coat each ball in confectioners' sugar before placing onto prepared cookie sheets.
- Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes. Let it stand on the cookie sheet for a minute before transferring to wire racks to cool.
